-All the markets!!!!
Listen, I don't even know how the market world is in other cities, but I can confidently say that Cincinnati has the most talented vendors anywhere. And for those of us for whom sustainability is a priority, there is absolutely zero shortage of options to choose from. Some of our favorite markets include Chriskindlmarkt at Germania, The Cincy Holiday Expo, Greater Cincinnati Holiday Market, Holiday OFF Market, Findlay Market (Be sure to take the kids to find the Shillito’s Elves! They will be there during market hours, and will be animated on the weekends!) Holiday Market, Mustard Seed Market, Mojave Market, Art on Vine, and City Flea.
And a few extras that are sure to become holiday favourites for you and yours,
-Find free coats and holiday meals at Good Plates Eatery
-Pick up holiday dinners from Chez Renee French Bistro, The Wheel Oakley, Eli’s BBQ, Leyla Mediterranean, Oakley Kitchen, and many more!
-Take a trip around the state to celebrate with even more communities! Fan favorites include The Christmas Story House in Cleveland, The Dickens Victorian Village in Cambridge, Historic Clifton Mill
-Find your new best fur friend at Purrfect Day Cat Cafe (responsibly of course, adopting an animal is a lifetime commitment). A collaborative effort between local shelters and the proprietor - this is a cafe and cat play space in one, meant to keep adoptable cats and kittens socialized, as well as acting as a direct adoption point. I took my own daughter several times over the course of a year, and eventually took home our very own Olaf right at Christmas time! He is absolutely the sweetest, most personable cat I have ever met in my life, and we can’t imagine our home without him!
